Writing is mostly a solitary job, but sometimes the opportunity arises to work with other creative people and organisations. I’ve been part of projects initiated by museums in London and Edinburgh, the Woodland Trust, the Wildlife Trusts, Arts Councils, book festivals and the writers’ collective 26, and I’ve learned from every one.
